For more than 30 years, the leader of the band has lived on stage inspired by the gift of music introduced to him as a young boy. His biggest teacher and mentor was his own father, who institutionalized mariachi music and led his Mariachi to international stardom over his 40 years of musical direction. Thus, the band leader is trained by the best, has performed with the best, and is committed to making sure the next generation of mariachi musicians receive the highest quality and most authentic instruction possible. With over 25 years as a leading member of his father's group, he now brings his experience, professionalism, and leadership to this wonderful group.
