This Chinese classical music ensemble has performed classical and original repertoires on Chinese and Western instruments in numerous concerts and soundtracks for more than a decade. They have collaborated and perfomed with
organizations such as the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, San
Francisco Symphony various movies, and video games.

They perform programs for educational, entertainment, and cultural enrichment and can also include Chinese dancers and acrobatics.

The video features a duo of butterfly harp (hammered dulcimer) and guzheng (long zither or harp).

This band was founded in 1987 by a group of Chines music enthusiasts in the United States to promote traditional Chinese and other Asian music as a source of pride and identity for Asian Americans, while enriching the multi-cultural fabric of American society. Our organization also facilitates the creation of new works reflecting America’s multi-cultural reality, through collaborations with contemporary artists ranging from orchestral to jazz musicians.

With over 250 performance in the past 12 years, the performers have traveled from San Francisco San Diego educating and exposing a vast array of audiences to Chinese music.
